Here’s what you need to know about our new normal…
1. Firstly, THANK YOU.
Thank you for your patience.
As we open our restaurants, to ensure best practice in social distancing and to provide a safer environment, we will have fewer people working on each shift. We also have fewer people in our kitchens which means serving a reduced menu over reduced hours. Although we’re not expecting a change in our service level, we appreciate your understanding while we get to grips with the lay of our new land.
Thank you for helping us keep safe and healthy.
We understand the new government safety requirements may feel weird to start with but don’t forget it’s not forever, it’s for the best and we’re still the same old us…just an improved version!
2. Importantly, we’ve got safety covered!
We have been diligent in following government guidelines to create a clean, hygienic, and most importantly, safe environment for you to enjoy.
We ask that you kindly practice caution if you are feeling unwell in any way or if you have been in contact with anyone who is ill or experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms (including but not limited to: cough, temperature, loss of taste or smell).
We’ve conducted controlled tests to arrive at, what we believe, is the safest way to re-open our pub:
|This is a non-contact sport. Let’s get social but keep our distance. You’ll see lots of reminders of this around the pub.|
|Don’t go moving. We’ve carefully planned the position of our tables and chairs to make sure everyone feels safe with social distancing, we’ve also added screens for your privacy & comfort.|
|It’s a one-way system ‘round here. Someone will be there to greet you and show you to your table, we’ve also added signs to help you.|
|You’re never too far away from a freshen up. We have plenty of hand sanitizer stations; positioned at the entrance and dotted around the site.|
|We’ve gone all technological. We’ve invested in new systems & software to reduce touchpoints.|
|We’ve removed all soft furnishings and implemented rigorous cleaning procedures on top of our usual day to day cleaning.|
|We’re encouraging contactless payment where possible. We’ll still be accepting cash|
|Be a washer, not a walker Please wash your hands after visiting the bathroom.|

4. Have you booked?
To safely reopen our doors for you and our teams as possible, we have implemented a few changes in the short term. We will be operating a reservation-only policy as this enables us to control the flow of people as and when we are able to welcome you back.

5. Excuse us while we change…the table
When you’re shown to your table, you’ll notice a few little changes. Our cutlery will live in pouches and we’ll have placemats to ensure everything is clean & safe as and when you need them.
If you need anything else just ask and we’ll grab it.
6. My Pub Grub
We know, we know, you’ve spent three months indoors and you can’t wait to see us. Trust us, the feeling is mutual. But don’t let us get in the way of that series binge, enjoy the same Great British pub experience you have with us, in the comfort of your home with our new takeaway service.
